COURSE NOTE

TCP Graduate Projects Overview

The two-semester Graduate Projects sequence includes:

The fundamental course objective of the TCP Graduate Projects sequence is to teach students how to engineer a complex, inter/multidisciplinary design and implementation problem in a group environment.  Graduate Projects focuses on the synthesis and application of the basic science, mathematics, engineering theory and design skills. The course teaches basic knowledge in component and systems engineering design and provides an introduction into test management and project management, including financial responsibility.

Graduate Projects are intended to be sponsored activities and the emphasis is upon: (1) application of skills to a relevant industry technical or policy issue; and (2) on producing a usable product that meets sponsor (customer) requirements.
